LEO EDWARD HOWELL, 64 of North Little Rock, was born on Nov. 10, 1946. He lost his battle with cancer, and left us to go be with the Lord on Jan. 12, 2011. He was a Vietnam Veteran, who served two terms. For most of his life, he was a diesel mechanic, serving with Pat Salmon and Son. Leo is preceeded in death by his parents Clyde Howell and Blanch Howell, two sisters Ruby Holland,and Faye Berryman. He leaves behind his loving wife of forty-one years, Georgie Howell; one daughter, Loretta Howell Dumas; one granddaughter Logan Dumas; and one very special niece Brenda Smith. He is survived by one sister Mary Kerr of Little Rock, Ark.; four brothers, Clyde Howell Jr. of Little Rock, Ark., Lewis Howell and wife Debbie of Sheridan, Ark., Clarence Howell and wife Angela of Jacksonville, Ark., and Lee Howell and wife Karen of Haskell, Ark.; a sister in law Barbara Stapleton; and numerous nieces, nephews, and very special friends. Visitation will be held 6-8 p.m. Monday, Jan. 17. Funeral Services will be at 9 a.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 18. Services will be conducted by Brother Mark Overman of Hwy Baptist in Sherwood, Ark. Visitation and Funeral Services will be held at Huson Funeral Home 7700 Highway 107 in Sherwood, Akansas. An online register may be signed at www.husonfuneralhome.com.
