Bobby Joe Taylor

Bobby Joe Taylor left this world on Jan. 14, 2011, at his home in Scott, Ark., at the age of 62. Bobby was born on Jan. 12, 1949 in Augusta, Ark. He was the son of L.C. and Margaret Miller Taylor and was raised by his great-grandfather, Louis Ray Keck. He grew up in Augusta, Ark., and attended Augusta schools. Bobby married Flo Sebourn 43 years ago and together they have three boys, Bryan, Mason and Brad. He was employed as a truck salesman for around 40 years and made several friends in this line of work. He was employed at Truck Centers of Arkansas for the past 13 years. Bobby enjoyed boating, fishing and visiting with his friends and family. He especially loved spending time with his wife, Flo. Bobby and Flo did everything from fishing to shopping together. The bond they have is something they both cherish. Bobby is survived by his wife, Ellen Florita "Flo" Taylor of the home; his children Bryan Taylor of Sherwood, Mason Taylor and wife Cindy of Sherwood, and Bradley Taylor of Jacksonville Beach, Fla.; two granddaughters, Kelsey Lauren Taylor of San Marcos, Texas, and Tori Taylor of Sherwood; a half-sister, Joann Taylor; and many other family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, L.C. and Margaret Miller Taylor; his great-grandfather, Louis Ray Keck; and a half-brother Stevie Joe Taylor. Visitation will be on Tuesday, Jan. 18, 2011, at Fellowship North Church in North Little Rock from 1 p.m. until 2 p.m. Funeral services will be held at Fellowship North Church in North Little Rock at 2 p.m. Interment will be at the Augusta Memorial Park in Augusta, Ark.
