Florence B Smith

Florence B. Smith, age 87, of England, Ark., went to be with the Lord on Sunday, Jan. 16, 2011. She was born Nov. 26, 1923 to Dee O Blankinship and Myrtle Jeans Blankinship. Florence worked for the Bank of England for 34 years, she was a member of the Willing Workers Sunday School Class of Landmark Baptist Church in England, Ark., and a homemaker. Florence was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Laverne "Putt" Smith and a son, Gary Wayne Smith. She is survived by a son, Thomas Dee (Tommy) and his wife Kelley of England, Ark.; a granddaughter, Erin Cathey Smith of England, Ark., and many friends, cousins, and extended family. Funeral services will be Tuesday, Jan. 18, 2011 at 10 a.m. at Landmark Baptist Church in England, Ark., with burial in Union Valley Cemetery.
