Georgia Ruth Walesiak

Georgia Ruth (Carter) Walesiak, 83, of Vilonia, Ark., passed away Saturday, Jan. 15, 2011, at Conway Healthcare and Rehabilitation. She was born Oct. 17, 1927, in Monroe County, a daughter of the late Joseph G. and Ora Belle (McKinney) Carter. Mrs. Walesiak was also preceded in death by her husband, Richard Walesiak; a daugher, Patsy Ruth Abbott; a son, Glenn Ray Chism; brothers and sisters, Helen Carter, Joseph Carter, Edith Grady, Granville Carter, Aubry Carter, Cairl Carter, and Louella Harper. She was a retired LPN. Survivors are her children, Robert D. Wills and wife Lou Jane, of Wooster; Kenneth Chism and wife Peggy of Norco, Calif.; Donna Cottrell and husband Larry of Vilonia; sisters, Florence Catlett and Lola Russell; 11 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren; as well as many nephews and nieces. Visitation will be 6–8 p.m., Tuesday, Jan. 18, 2011, at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home in Greenbrier. Funeral will be 3 p.m., Wednesday, in the chapel of Roller-McNutt Funeral Home.
