Martha Staggs

MARTHA STAGGS, 84, of North Little Rock passed away Saturday, Jan. 15, 2011. She was born May 19, 1926 in Piggott, Ark., to the late Ed and Martha Parks. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Staggs; daughter, Martha Kay Staggs Watson; granddaughter, Richel Varble; four brothers and two sisters. She is survived by her children, Larry Staggs, of Sherwood, Beverly Hughes (Mitch Phillips), of Rockford, Ill., Shirley (George) Mason of Malvern; 10 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter; one sister and many nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held 10 a.m., Tuesday at Mt. Carmel Cemetery in Cabot. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m., Monday at North Little Rock Funeral Home, 1921 Main St., 758-1170.
