Ruby Herring

Mrs. Ruby Christine (Henry) Herring, 86, of Newport, departed this life on Jan. 10, 2011. Survivors include one daughter, Cassandra Ann (Herring) Bonds and husband, Charles Edward Bonds of Newport; two grandchildren, Charles Michael Bonds and wife Jennifer of Conway and Amy Elizabeth (Bonds) Green and husband Chad of North Little Rock; and one great-grandchild, Benjamin Sims Bonds of Conway; two sisters, Gladys Johnston of Jonesboro and Wanda Brown of Garland, Texas; one brother, Marcus Adrian Henry of Lindale, Texas; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services were 2 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 13, 2011 at Umsted Memorial Methodist Church with interment in Walnut Grove Cemetery. Arrangements by Jackson's Newport Funeral Home. www.jacksonsfh.com.
