Terry Clayton, 68, of Cabot, Arkansas was born in Tollville, Arkansas on January 14, 1943 to Frances Lynn and Willine Clayton of Hazen. Terry began his eternal life on January 17, 2011. Terry loved the outdoors and spent many years enjoying duck hunting on the Grand Prairie and sharing his stories with family and friends. He was preceded in death by his father and his beloved wife, Carol of 20 years. Terry is survived by his mother, Willene Clayton, a former resident of Hazen who is now a resident of Southwinds Heights in Jonesboro; his loving wife, Gail who has loved and cared for him for the past 23 years; daughters, Jamie Clayton, Marlo Lock (Chuck), Sherri Johnson, Pam Walker, and Robyn Miles; brothers, Larry Clayton of Rector, Ark. and Randy Clayton of Hazen; nine grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m., Wednesday, January 19, 2011 at St. Peters Episcopal Church in Tollville, which his father helped to build and where Terry served and an altar boy for many years. Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m., prior to the service on Wednesday, January 19 at St. Peters Episcopal Church in Tollville.
