Blanche Lewis

Blanche Lewis, 93, of Little Rock, passed away Monday, January 17, 2011. She was born in DeWitt, Arkansas to Ben and Phyllis Vasseau Watson and was retired after 44 years from J.C. Penney Co. She was a member of The Summit Church. Preceded in death by her parents, husband, Van Lewis, and two brothers and two sisters, she is survived by her daughter, Janette Poe and husband, Howard; grandchildren, Neal Poe and Julie Poe Caldwell (Joe); sister, Ruth Hagerty; and a host of nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held today, Wednesday, January 19 from 1:30-2:30 p.m. at Little Rock Funeral Home, 8801 Knoedl Ct. (NW corner I-630 and Barrow Rd.), followed by a graveside service at 3 p.m. at Pinecrest Memorial Park in Alexander. Rev. Bill Elliff will officiate with Bro. Bob Slagley interpreting.
