Flave Roberson

Flave Tarpley Roberson, age 93, of Arkadelphia, passed from this life on Monday, January 17, 2011 at Twin Rivers Health & Rehabilitation Center in Arkadelphia. He was born December 8, 1917 in Okolona the son of the late Jesse & Eula Tarpley Roberson. Flave was retired from the Clark County Road Department and a member of Park Hill Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by one son Kenneth Mac Roberson, one daughter Eula Faye Reese, one sister Vesta Malcom and three brothers, Will Fred and Wayne Roberson. Flave is survived by his loving wife of 72 years Glenva Wingfield Roberson, three grandchildren, Warren (Denise) Roberson of Dallas, Texas, Jeff (Donna) Roberson of New Orleans, La. and Carey (Carrie) Roberson of Arkadelphia, five great-grandchildren, Josh, Peyton, Emilee, Jacob and Baylee Roberson, one brother, Paul Roberson of Arkadelphia, one daughter-in-law, Gail (Ken) Murray of Cotter. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Friday, January 21, 2011, at Park Hill Baptist Church with Rev. Erby Burgess officiating. Interment will be in Rest Haven Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until service time at the church. Pallbearers are Jacob Roberson, Josh Roberson, Ronnie Roberson, Wayne McCauley, Jim Mitchell and Charles McAnally.
