Marc Alan Stanley

Marc Alan Stanley, 54 of Guy, passed away on Monday, January 17, 2011. Born in El Dorado, Ark. on April 30, 1956, he was a son to Patricia Stanley of North Little Rock, and the late Harvey Baxter "Bud" Stanley. He graduated from North Little Rock High School, was employed by Southern Star Concrete and was a member of the Goldwing Road Riders Association, where he was Treasurer Elect of Chapter "L". Marc loved life. He loved God first, his wife, family and friends. Marc lived life to the fullest, enjoying motorcycles, golf, Razorback football, horses and sharing memories with others. Marc was also preceded in death by his grandparents Arch and Maude Stanley of Smackover, Ark. and Emil and Selma Bollinger of Avoca, Wisc. Those left to mourn his passing are his wife, Beverly Stanley; his mother, Patricia Stanley; son, Marc Allan "Bubba" Stanley II and wife Ashliegh; daughter, April; step-sons: Phillip Hale and wife Roberta and Patrick Hale; step-daughter, Peggy Hale; brothers, Jon Stanley and wife Heidi of St. Joseph, Mo. and Phillip Stanley and wife Millicent of Sherwood, Ark.; a sister, Samantha Stanley of North Little Rock, AArk.R; grandchildren: Kaitlyn, Taylor, Lauren, Andrew, Molly, Skylah and Miles and many nieces, nephews and friends. The family sends special thanks to the doctors and staff at U.A.M.S., but especially to Dr. Jeff Holt, Crystal Turner, Sherry Steel, Mona and Mac. The funeral service will be held at 1 p.m., Friday, January 21, 2011, at Roller McNutt Funeral Home in Conway with Bro. Tim Brewer and Pastor Larry Siefert officiating. Interment will follow at Crestlawn Memorial Park with members of the G.W.R.R.A. Chapter "L" serving as pallbearers. Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, at the funeral home.
