Timothy L. Zimmerebner, 51, of 236-B West Mountain View Drive, Hot Springs, Arkansas, died of a sudden heart attack on January 17, 2011, at Lawnwood Regional Medical Center, Ft. Pierce, Florida. Tim was born on January 8, 1960, in Lafayette, Louisiana. He was the golf professional at Hot Springs Country Club for the past four years. Prior to that, he was the golf professional at El Dorado Golf and Country Club for 16 years. Tim was a member of the PGA of America and he served as past-president of the Arkansas Chapter. He was the past Arkasas Junior Tour Regional Director and was Arkansas Player of the Year 2004-2008 and 2010. He was Arkansas Teacher of the year 2007 and 2010. He was voted Professional of the Year 1995. Tim was preceded in death by his brother, Joey Hudson. He is survived by his wife, Beverly Scott Zimmerebner, son, Scott Zimmerebner, U of A, Fayetteville, Arkansas, daughter, Mollie Abernathy Newton, El Dorado, Arkansas, grandson, Will Newton, parents, Bill and Velma Zimmerebner, Downsville, Louisiana, brother, Jimi Hudson, Monroe, Louisiana, sister, Renee Hudson, Monroe, Louisiana, sister Billie Zimmerebner, Branson, Missouri and sister Monica Zimmerebner, Austin, Texas. There will be a visitation on Thursday, January 20th, at the El Dorado Golf and Country Club from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. A memorial service will be held on Friday, January 21st, at 1:30 p.m. at First United Methodist Church, El Dorado, Arkansas, officiated by Rev. Jim Polk and Rev. Lamar Trieschmann. On Sunday, January 23rd, at 5 p.m. a Prayer Service in Tim's honor is scheduled at Lake Valley Community Church, Hot Springs, Arkansas. Tim was a loving husband, father, son, brother, friend and mentor to many. He will be greatly missed! In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the ASGA Scholarship Program, P.O. Box 30250, Little Rock, Ark. 72260 or to the Tim Zimmerebner Memorial Fund at any Summit Bank location. The family will be at 122 Lion Avenue, El Dorado, Arkansas.
