Bernard "Skip" Eberle, 83, of North Little Rock passed away January 19, 2011 after a battle with a rare type of cancer. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and retired owner of Skip's Mobile Glass Company. He loved to spend time with his family, fish and hunt. He was a member of Victory Missionary Baptist Church of Sherwood. He was preceded in death by his parents Lillie (Mills) and William Earl Eberle, and two brothers, Earl Eberle and Ed Eberle. Skip is survived by his wife Joyce Schalchlin Eberle; sons, Gary Eberle of Maumelle, Mike Eberle (Connie) of Sherwood, Dennis (Kathy) Eberle of North Little Rock; daughters, Janet Eberle-Wilkins (Mike) and Shirley Abel (Ken), both of North Little Rock, 16 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Memorials in Skip's name may be made to Arkansas Hospice of Little Rock in lieu of flowers. Funeral services will be held 10 a.m., Saturday, January 22, 2011 at the North Little Rock Funeral Home, 1921 Main Street in North Little Rock 72114, 501-758-1170, with burial to follow 2 p.m., at Lost Creek Cemetery in Sheridan, Arkansas.
