Margaret Lynn Umholtz

Margaret Lynn Spickes Umholtz, 65, went to be with the Lord on January 19, 2011. Lynn was born on August 17, 1945 in Little Rock, Arkansas, to Louis D. and Eva Belle (Arnold) Spickes. Lynn was a loving mother and grandmother and a loyal friend to many. She was a faithful member of Lakeshore Drive Baptist Church for more than 30 years. She was employed by the City of Little Rock for almost 26 years and was Finance Department Employee of the year in 2009. She was preceded in death by her mother and father, brother, Connor Spickes and sister, Mary Ann Spickes. Lynn is survived by daughters, Paige Cooper (James) and Eva Wolf (David); grandchildren, Hugh, Luke, Elijah and Paisley; brothers Douglas Spickes (Sherry) and Gary Spickes (Penny); and sister-in-law, Suzanne Crismon. She is also survived by other family and close friends, including her nieces and nephews and their families. Visitation will be from 2 until 4 p.m., Sunday, January 23, 2011 at Roller-Chenal Funeral Home (501) 224-8300. The funeral service will be at 2 p.m., Monday, January 24, at Lakeshore Drive Baptist Church, 21 Lakeshore Drive, Little Rock. Interment will follow at Forest Hills Memorial Park.
