Anne Deese Pinkston Frankel

ANNE DEESE PINKSTON FRANKEL, 67, of Sherwood, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 19, 2011 in North Little Rock. She was born in Little Rock, Ark. on Jan. 26, 1943 to the late Brady and Tommie Stewart Deese. In 1960, Anne graduated from North Little Rock High School. For many years Anne helped run her family's hardware store, Deese Hardware, in North Little Rock. Anne was currently employed with Nuvell Financial Services the past 15 years. She was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Taylore' Elizabeth Hall. Survivors include her husband, Buddy Frankel of Sherwood; children, Lisa Pinkston of North Little Rock, (Preston Hall), Paul (Lisa) Pinkston, of Sherwood, and Lesli Griffin of Little Rock; grandchildren, Jordan Griffin, Sydney Griffin, Daton Pinkston, Dawson Pinkston, and Jacob Hall; sister, Jane Deese Keatts of Las Cruces, N.M.; niece, Julie Keatts Owens of Los Angeles, Calif.; nephew, Jeff Keatts of Houston, Texas and numerous special friends. Anne was a beloved mother, sister and grandmother who will be truly missed. Her children and grandchildren were her most valuable asset and she was so proud of each and every one of them, reclaiming her Arkansas life from Colorado just to be near them. She loved animals, a good laugh, trips to Branson, good co-workers and she was groomed to the nines at all times. No one every saw Anne until she was all put together and which included her trademark eyelashes and jewelry. She leaves many joyful memories for everyone to hold dear. Memorial services will be 6 p.m., Monday, Jan. 24, 2011 at Moore's Jacksonville Funeral Chapel with Brother Paul Holderfield officiating.
