Doris Jean Fox Powell

DORIS JEAN FOX POWELL, 79, of Maumelle, passed away Jan. 20, 2011. She was born in Lavaca, Ark. to Silas and Missie Escue Chapen and was retired from a career in nursing. Preceded in death by her husbands, Larry Fox and Charles Powell, she is survived by her daughter, Lee Ann Edmonson of Maumelle; son, Steve Fox (Cindy) of Vilonia; grandsons, Chase Fox and Trey Fox; granddaughters, Lucy Edmonson Henson (J.W.) and Lana Edmonson; and great-granddaughter, Mckinlee Henson. Services will be held on Tuesday, Jan. 25 at 12:30 p.m. at Little Rock Funeral Home, 8801 Knoedl Ct. (NW corner I-630 and Barrow Rd.), Little Rock, followed by interment at Little Rock National Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Monday evening at the funeral home.
