Harry John Fox

Harry John Fox, 87 of Paris, Ark. died on Friday, Jan. 21, 2011 in Paris. Johnny was born on May 8, 1923 in Paris to the late Frank J. Fox Sr. and Laura (Etzkorn) Fox. Johnny was a graduate of Subiaco Academy and a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. Johnny's first job was working as a bookkeeper for the local coal mines. After Johnny left the coal mines he went to work for Arkansas Western Gas Company from which he retired. Johnny was an avid hunter, fisherman, gardener and loved the Arkansas Razorbacks. Johnny is preceded in death by his wife Elizabeth (Heim) Fox; his parents Frank J. Fox Sr. and Laura Fox; three brothers Eugene Fox, Frank Fox Jr. and Lawrence Fox and three sisters Ann Bailey, Margie Jack and Mary Jane Fitzsimmons. Johnny is survived by three daughters, Barbara Robinson and husband Gary of Paris, Harriet Jones and husband Mike of Maumelle, and Celeste Fox of Paris; one sister, Virginia Solas of Kansas City, Mo., four grandchildren, Kristi Hasart of Battle Ground, Wash., Nick Robinson of Tigard, Ore., Todd Robinson of Vancouver, Wash. and Andrea Branson of Maumelle, Ark., 10 great-grandchildren and many loved nieces and nephews especially Lyn, Dilyn and Faith Orr. Rosary Service will be held at 6:30 p.m, on Sunday, Jan. 23, 2011 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Paris. Funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m., on Monday, Jan. 24, 2011 at St. Joseph Catholic Church with burial following at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Paris under the direction of Roller Funeral Home in Paris. Honorary Pallbearers will be Gary Schluterman and Blake Schluterman.
