Walter E. Belcher, III

WALTER E. BELCHER III, 71, of Jacksonville went to be with the Lord and his wife on Jan. 20, 2011. He was born in Dallas, Texas on July 4th, 1939 and preceded in death by his wife of 37 years Sonja Gail Belcher and his mother Dorothy Swanner. Mr. Belcher was an avid golfer and enjoyed skeet shooting as well. He retired from the United States Navy with honors and also from Blue Cross and Blue Shield. He is survived by his children; Brian Belcher Sr. and his wife Kim of Benton, Doug Belcher and his wife Fonda of Sherwood and Kelly Johnson and her husband Todd of Sherwood; nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
