Mary Louise Mateljan

Mary Louise Mateljan, 85, of Conway, passed away Saturday, Jan. 22, 2011. She was born Feb. 18, 1925 in Conway to the late George L. Hegi and Cecila Swayze Hegi. She was preceded in death by her husband Joseph R. Mateljan. She was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church and retired from Baldwin Piano. She is survived by her son, Joe Mateljan and wife Kathy of Benton; daughter, Mary Leona Sturino of New Berlin, Wis.; eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; brother, G. L. Hegi of Conway; sisters, Barbara Ann Pruitt of Springdale and Dorothy Wedeking of Searcy. Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Wednesday at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Conway, with burial in Crestlawn Memorial Park. Rosary will be 6 p.m. Tuesday at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home, Conway, with visitation following till 8 p.m. Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
