Bobby G. Vestal

Loving father, Bobby G. Vestal, 80, of North Little Rock, died Sunday, January 23, 2011. Bobby was born May 6, 1930 in the Saltillo Community to the late Cecil M. Vestal and Vida Walls Stephens. He is also preceded in death by wife Mary (Noe) Vestal, stepfather Sherman Stephens, and grandson Christian McLemore. Mr. Vestal was retired from Teletype, after 33 years of service. He was a member of the United Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, Telephone Pioneers, and he was a long-time member of Oak Bowery Baptist Church. Bobby is survived by children, Ginger Huffman (Ed) of Maumelle, Teresa Smith of Maumelle, Debbie Proctor of Mustang, Okla., Kenny Vestal (Sue) of Conway, Donna Bryant of Sherwood, and Diana Watkins (Steve) of Guy; siblings Tommy Vestal of North Little Rock and Bessie Speights of Conway; 10 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren; and loving companions Misti and Friskie. Funeral service will be 10 a.m., Wednesday, January 26, 2011 at Oak Bowery Baptist Church in Conway, with Bro. Mike Collier and Rev. Tim Nolan officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Bowery Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Mike Meeks, Jeremy Glover, Michael Bryant, Blake Watkins, Josh Meeks, and Jason Loyed. Honorary pallbearers will be Don Bradford, JP Flynn, Mickey Meeks, Bailey Meeks, and Tony Vestal.
