Katherine Marie Perry

Katherine Marie Perry, 83, of Benton, went to be with her Lord and Savior on January 23, 2011. She was born April 6, 1927 to the late Dock B. and Marie Wright. Katherine was preceded in death by her loving husband, Earl M. Perry, brother, Phillip Wright, sister, Faydell Ulmer. She was an active, dedicated member of Oak Grove Missionary Baptist Church, where she had many friends. She also enjoyed fishing, playing dominos and cards, shopping, traveling, sewing and cooking wonderful meals for her family and friends. She is survived by six children, Vickie and husband, Tom Reeves, Austin, Texas, Earl Michael and wife, JoAnn Perry of Corsicana, Texas, Mona Brown and the late Bill Brown of Warren, Erla Mae Gardner, Polly and husband, Terry Toney, James and wife, Jennifer Perry of Benton. Katherine was loved by seven grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends and family at visitation, Tuesday, January 25th, 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Ashby Funeral Home. Chapel Services at Ashby Funeral Home will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, January 26th with burial at Old Rosemont Cemetery in Benton.
