Barbara Jean Nelson

Barbara Jean (Clark) Nelson of Little Rock, Ark., departed on January 26, 2011. Her parents Sidney and Bessie Clark; one brother, Billy Vinston; and one grandson, Keithen Hoof preceded her in death. She's survived by her husband, Ray Nelson; four children, Anthony (Teresa) Nelson of Little Rock, Ark., Terry (Thomas) Nelson Stafford of Memphis, Tenn., Paula (Jerry) Brown and Keithen (Andrea) Nelson both of Little Rock, Ark.; two sisters, Bessie Mae Parker and Henrietta Vinston; three brothers, Dean Clark, Sidney Clark and Louis Vinston; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren ; two aunts, Essie Williams and Lucille Noble; two foster children, Mark and Mike Mitchner and a host of nieces, nephews, other loving relatives and friends. The family extends a special thank you to the Little Rock Baptist Hospice, fifth floor nurses and attendants who took exceptional care of her during her final days. Visitation: Friday, January 28, 2011, 3-6 p.m., at Ruffin and Jarrett Funeral Home, 1200 Chester St., LR. Funeral service: Saturday, January 29, 2011, 11 a.m., at St. Paul United Methodist Church, 9721 Pinnacle Valley, Little Rock, Arkansas.
