Ja Tipton, 45, of Germantown, Tennessee passed away Tuesday, January 25, 2011. He was a huge razorback fan, loved outdoors, playing golf with his son Myles, and watching him play baseball and football. Ja also loved to travel and always wished to be a pilot. He never met a stranger and is dearly loved by all who knew him. He is survived by his wife of 3 ½ years, Lori Tipton, of Germantown, Tennessee; son, Myles Tipton, of Brookhaven, Mississippi; father and his wife, Shelby and Melody Tipton, of Jacksonville; mother, Joellynn Weaver, of Dolomite, Alabama; mother-in-law, Pat Branum, of Siloam Springs; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Treva and Johnny Bradley Jr., of Jacksonville and Deena and Chip Clevenger, of Farmington, Arkansas; three brothers and sisters-in-law, Martis and Samantha Tipton, of Sherwood, D.J. and Rachel Niece and Bobby and Sherrie Niece, all of Cabot; grandmother, Phyllis Sizemore of Dolomite, Alabama; sister-in-law, Lisa Branum, of Siloam Springs; and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 505 St. Jude Place, Memphis, Tennessee 38105. Funeral services will be held 1 p.m., Friday in the North Little Rock Funeral Home Chapel, 1921 Main St., 758-1170. Burial will be in Sumner Cemetery.
