Charles A. Ray

Charles A. Ray, age 72 of Benton, passed from this life on January 28, 2011. Charles was born on August 16, 1938 in Wilson, Arkansas to the late Merlin Ray and Jessie Eskridge-Ray. He was a lover of the outdoors and enjoyed hunting and fishing in his younger years. Mr. Ray is survived by his daughter, Kathy Robbins and her husband, Keith of Lake Norrell; one son, Chuck Ray and his wife, Tonia of Benton; grandchildren; Kyle Robbins, Chad Ray and his wife, Rachel, Jordan Ray and his wife, Alisha and Jess Ray, along with his great-granddaughters; Kaylee Grace Robbins and one of the way, Adalyn Virginia Ray. Charles is also survived by his brother, John Ray of Conway and his sister, Lou Watada of Bryant. He is preceded in death by his loving wife, of 50 years,Virginia Polly Ray, along with his parents, one sister and two brothers. A celebration of life will be held for Mr. Ray at 10 a.m. on Monday, January 31, 2011 at Dial & Dudley Funeral Home in Bryant, 501-847-9099.
