Amanda Ruddell

AMANDA RUDDELL, 75, of Jacksonville passed away Friday, Jan. 28, 2011, at her home. She was born Sept. 30, 1935, in Germany to the late Art Jung and Emma. She formerly worked for Siemens in Germany and Maybelline in North Little Rock. Later she became a full time military wife; she loved their last assignment when they moved to Japan for three years. She was a devoted Catholic. She was an avid animal lover and could not resist giving a home to a stray cat or dog. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Survivors include her husband, Chester B. Ruddell; daughters, Andrea and Martina; sister, Leni; and grandson, Christian, all of Germany. Graveside services will be 12 p.m., Tuesday, Feb. 1, 2011, at Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery in North Little Rock with Father Andy Smith officiating.
