Paula Sue West Rubow

Paula Sue West Rubow went to be with the Lord on Jan. 28, 2011. Paula was a beloved mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, and friend. She is survived by three children; daughters, Misty Nyhuis (Brian) of Lonoke, Jennifer Rubow of Lonoke, and son, Don West Jr. (Amy) of Austin; parents, Raymond and Barbara Parker; sisters, Cheryl Richard, Cynthia Wilder (Stanley); brothers, Rickie Richard and Jerry Richard (Deidra) all of South Carolina; five grandchildren, Hunter Spence, Lacey Nyhuis, Chase Nyhuis, Ashlyn Nyhuis all of Lonoke and Sklar West of Beebe; several nieces and nephews. Paula is preceded in death by her father, Jerry Richard of Biloxi, Mississippi. The family would like to say thank you to special friend, Michelle Weatherly who provided loving care for Paula for so many years, to Sheila and Martha from Lonoke Nursing and Rehab, your special care was very much appreciated, and to Baptist Hospice for the care and comfort you provided to Paula and her family. Paula will be forever missed and forever in our hearts. She always had a big smile on her face and loved to visit with friends and family. Paula faced health problems for many years and physical impairments that left her wheelchair bound, but she never complained. She always saw the bright side of life. Paula hated goodbyes, so from her to you, not a goodbye, but a "see you later…" Family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday, Jan. 31 at Westbrook Funeral Home, Beebe.
