Bess Harris

BESS HARRIS, 71, of North Little Rock, died on Friday, Jan. 28, 2011. She is survived by her husband of 30 years, Ray Harris of North Little Rock; two daughters, Ellen Bell and husband Pat of Helena, and Dani Richardson and husband Bruce of O'Fallon, Mo.; one son, Curtis Dean of North Little Rock; two stepdaughters, Cheri Lout and husband Larry of Oklahoma City, and Tracey Harris of Lewisville, Texas; her mother, Josephine Sollock of North Little Rock; a sister, Bonnie Walker of Ashdown; two brothers, John Henry Sollock of Mount Pleasant, Ark., and Edward Sollock of Thayer, Mo.; nine grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her father, John Henry Sollock; and three sisters, Pat Johnson, Wanda Sollock, and Norma Sollock. Bess was a beloved wife, mother, daughter, and Nanny, and she will be greatly missed. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at North Little Rock Funeral Home Chapel.
