Gisela Johnson

Gisela Liselotte Johnson, 76 of Jacksonville passed away Saturday, February 26, 2011 at her residence, she was born on April 7, 1934 in Berlin, Germany; she was the daughter of the late Fritz Marquass and Elfriede Luise Menzel. Gisela was a retired seamstress, who will be remembered for being a good, Christian, loving wife, who enjoyed playing bingo with her husband and friends, and working in her garden, she loved and cared for animals and all the people who were apart of her life. Survivors include her loving husband of 40 years Daniel Johnson of Jacksonville, a sister, Hille of Zeuthern, Germany; and a brother, Rolf of Australia. Cremation arrangements will be private, under the direction of Huson Funeral Home in Sherwood.
