Kurt M. Lusinger, 61, a lifelong resident, Pine Bluff, passed away Sunday, February 27, 2011, in Fordyce. Born December 5, 1949, in Pine Bluff, he was a son of Peary and Eva Moran Lusinger. Mr. Lusinger was reared and received his early education in Pine Bluff, graduating from Watson Chapel High School in 1967. He was an active member of the Willow Pride 4-H Club, winning many awards. He attended Arkansas Technical College in Russellville, and majored in art at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. He served his country during the Vietnam Era in the United States Navy, serving aboard the USS Iwo Jima. Mr. Lusinger was a line repairman for Southwestern Bell and AT&T for 32 years. He was a lifelong member of Good Faith Carr United Methodist Church. Kurt Enjoyed hay farming, gardening and being outside. Mr. Lusinger was preceded in death by his father, Peary Lusinger, his older brother, Drue Lusinger and a step-son, Jason Enlow. He is survived by his wife, Sandra Lusinger; his mother, Eva Lusinger of Pine Bluff; two sons, Jesse Lusinger of Pine Bluff, and Johann Lusinger of Redlands, California; one daughter, Kaitlin Lusinger of Lubbock, Texas; one brother, Chane Lusinger of Rison; step-son and step-daughter-in-law, Michael and Lori Enlow of Thornton; step-grandson, Jason Michael Enlow of Thornton. Funeral services will be 10 a.m., Wednesday, March 2, 2011, in the Chapel of Ralph Robinson & Son with Reverend Mike Wilkie, and Reverend Hammett Evans officiating. Burial will follow in Bellwood Annex Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m., Tuesday, March 1, 2011, at Ralph Robinson & Son.
