Sharon Ava Mross Britton, of Little Rock, Arkansas, died Saturday, February 26, 2011. Our mother was born on the 22nd day of March 1939, springtime, it would be a life-long love. For what seems like no good reason she is now somewhere other than earth, on that higher plain that us who are earthbound cannot see and some cannot understand. She lived a wonderful life, eventually, coming from a hard youth to marry the love of her life, Bobby Britton, in 1959 and raise five children, Karen Britton Evans, Lori Rae Britton, Bobbi Jolene Britton, Richard Merle Britton, II, and William Kevin Britton; have three granddaughters, Savannah R. Huggins, Shannon Ava Huggins, Holly R. Huggins; one grandson, Bobby Daniel Britton; three great granddaughters, Anichia Carter, Ava Williams and Vannah J. Davis; and many others who knew her as "Momma Sharon." All of whom are heartsick but have come together to celebrate the woman who was the glue that bound us all. She will never be truly gone, Sharon Britton will live on in all of our hearts, and every flower we see bloom. She is that to us all. Always. A celebration of her life will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, March 3, 2011, at Griffin Leggett Forest Hills Funeral Home, 10200 Hwy. 5 North, Alexander, Ark. (501-455-1067). Burial will follow at Pinecrest Memorial Park. Visitation will be held from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Wednesday, March 2, 2011, at the funeral home.
