Charles Raymond Wiggins

Charles Raymond Wiggins, age 76 of Sheridan, Arkansas, died Tuesday, March 1, 2011 at Hot Springs County Medical Center in Malvern. He was born on February 12, 1935 at Grapevine to the late Tom Wiggins and Doris Ross Wiggins. He graduated from Sheridan High School in 1953. Mr. Wiggins was a member of North Main Baptist Church in Sheridan and loved to spend time with family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Jessie Lee Wiggins and Lucile Urban; one brother, B.L. Wiggins; one granddaughter, Brandy Taylor and one great-grandson, Dilan Taylor. He is survived by his wife, Sallie Wiggins of 56 years; two daughters, Sally (Doug) Thomas and Jody Wiggins; one son, Louis (Debbie) Wiggins; five grandchildren, Charles Wiggins, Todd Wiggins, Annie Riley, Holly Wilkerson, Blake Wiggins, and Bethanie Watson; five great-grandchildren, Charles Wiggins Jr., Anna Wiggins, Petey Riley, Keeley Wilkerson, and Cash Wilkerson; and two sisters, Catherine Whitmire and Betty Sue Stevens. Funeral services are 10 a.m., Friday, March 4, 2011 at Buie Funeral Home Chapel in Sheridan with Reverend David White officiating. Interment will follow at Sheridan Cemetery. Visitation is 6-8 p.m. on Thursday, March 3, 2011 at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Charles Wiggins, Todd Wiggins, Blake Wiggins, David Reynolds, Doug Thomas, Kenny Mooney.
