L.V. Hudgens

L.V. Hudgens, 79, died Wednesday, March 2, 2011. He was an Army veteran and a retired Life of Georgia insurance agent. Survivors are his wife of 59 years, Helen; one son, Mike Hudgens of Stuttgart; two daughters, Pam (Mark) Colbert of Stuttgart and Lisa (Ron) Richardson of Alabaster, Alabama; one brother, Wendell (Lois) Hudgens of Greenville, South Carolina; one sister, Faye (Pete) Welch of Punta Gorda, Florida; two sisters-in-law, Anna Hudgens of Lakewood Ranch, Florida, and Terri Hudgens of Paragould; four grandchildren, Brian (Amber) Smith, Josh Hudgens, Jenny (Eric) Waugh and Sarah Richardson; and two great-grandchildren, Olivia Smith and Trinity Waugh. Funeral services are 1 p.m., Saturday at Grand Prairie Evangelical Methodist Church with burial in Lone Tree Cemetery. Visitation is 5-7 p.m., Friday at Turpin Funeral Home. www.turpinco.com.
