Roy Eugene Puckett Sr.

Roy Eugene Puckett Sr., 67, of Pine Bluff, went to heaven, March 7, 2011 due to congestive heart failure. He was born in Cleveland County, November 28, 1943. Roy attended Watson Chapel High School. He was married to Lynn Henson Puckett on January 31, 1969. Roy served in the US Army and was a member of Oak Park Free Will Baptist Church. He retired from the Pine Bluff Arsenal after twenty two years of service. He enjoyed traveling with his wife and spending time with his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father: Russell Puckett; and sister: Barbara Puckett Kolb. He was survived by his mother: Anna Puckett House; two brothers and their spouses: Jim and Judy Puckett of Norman, Okla.; Ron and Verna Puckett of White Hall; a daughter: Liza Smith of Lusk, Wyo.; four sons and their spouses: Roy and LaRae Puckett of Hendersonville, Tenn.; George and Ellie Puckett of Ruston, La.; Dr. John and Elizabeth Puckett of Paragould, Ark.; Bob and Laura Puckett of Jonesboro, Ark.; 14 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. There will be a graveside service on Wednesday, March 9th at 3 p.m. at Macedonia Cemetery with arrangements made through Buie Funeral Home in Rison, Ark. Visitation immediately following at the Community Center by the Macedonia Cemetery.
