Theron "Red" Wright, 94, of New Blaine, Arkansas died Saturday, March 5, 2011 in Fayetteville, Arkansas. He was born February 15, 1917 in Paris, Arkansas to Buford and Elsie (Crawford) Wright. He was a truck driver, a member of St. Scholastic Church, an Army Veteran of World War II and Korean War where he received five Bronze Stars and a Purple Heart and he was Past Commander of the VFW Post in New Blaine. He is preceded in death by his parents, Buford and Elsie Wright; his wife of 56 years, Helen (Konert) Wright; three children, Brenda Megaro, Bobby Wright and Gary Wright; three siblings, Ila Biggs, Leon Wright and Bill Wright. Theron is survived by five daughters and sons-in-law, Susan and Paul Barlock of Blaine, Wash., Darlene Rhodes of Reading, Pa., Cynthia and Rick Ward of Pea Ridge, Ark., Pamela and Kenny Horn of Greenland, Ark. and Patricia and Rusty Williams of Rogers, Ark.; a sister, Irene Greiner of Stuart, Fla.; 16 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren and numerous other family members and friends. Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m., Tuesday, March 8, 2011, at St. Scholastica Catholic Church in New Blaine, Ark. Burial will be at St. Scholastica Cemetery under the direction of Roller Funeral Home-Paris. Online guestbook www.rollerfuneralhomes.com.
