David Paslay

David Marvin Paslay, age 91, of Benton, passed away Tuesday, March 8, 2011. He was born October 12, 1919 in Kirby, Arkansas to the late Jesse James and Lillie Mae Paslay. Mr. Paslay was a W.W. II Marine Corp Veteran and retired from Reynolds. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Edna Faye Paslay; brother, James Herbert Paslay and three sisters, Verbie Devasher, Nina Robinson and Ottie Davis. He is survived by his son, Phillip Paslay and wife Bette of Searcy, daughter, Virginia Greenway and husband Rogie of Paron; three grandchildren, Chris Paslay, Robyn Sanders and David Greenway and six great-grandchildren, Jesse and Lily Paslay, Emily and Lynley Sanders, Grant and Drew Greenway. Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m., Thursday, March 10 at Ashby Funeral Home. Funeral services will be 2 p.m., Friday, March 11 at Ashby Funeral Home with burial at New Rosemont Cemetery. Bro.
