Seymour "S.M." Thomas Jr., 78. of Wheatley died Tuesday, March 1 at his home after a lengthy illness. His sister Mary (husband, Elgin Sr.) Swanigan and a host of other relatives survive him. Funeral services are to be held Saturday, March 12 at 2:30 p.m. at Greater First Baptist Church in Wheatley. Interment will take place at Pilgrim Rest Cemetery by Branscumb Funeral Home of Brinkley.
