Walter L. Loyd Jr.

Services for Walter L. Loyd Jr., 67, Cache, will be 11 a.m., Wednesday in the Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery. Mr. Loyd died Saturday. He was born March 16, 1943 in Helena, Arkansas. He served in the Army for 21 years and served three tours of duty in Vietnam. He married Dena Willcox on August 3, 1984 in Pine Bluff, Arkansas. He is survived by his wife, of the home; two daughters, Heather Loyd, Old Forge, Pennsylvania, and Charissa Bell, Heber Springs, Arkansas; a son, Devin Bell, Beebe, Arkansas; a sister, Mary Ellen Steinbeck, Cypress, California; a brother, William T. Loyd, Natchez, Mississippi; two grandchildren, Dillin Bell and Peyton Bell, both of Beebe; numerous nieces and nephews.
