Hoyte Singleton

Hoyte L. "Buddy" Singleton, age 68, of Camden, AR passed away Friday, March 11, 2011. He was born May 22, 1942 to the late Clayborn Edward and Sally Hawley Singleton. He was a member of Grace Baptist Church and the Camden Masonic Lodge. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Michael LaRue Singleton; brother, Tim Singleton; and sister, Alice Ann Lampkin. He is survived by his daughter, Perri Starnes and husband, Tommy of Arkadelphia, Ark.; son, Brent Bertrand and wife, Tat of Rayne, La.; close companion, Marie Bussell of Camden, Ark.; grandsons, Bart Bertrand, Blaine Bertrand, Andy Cochran, Matthew Starnes and Clay Singleton; granddaughters, Emily Starnes, Leia Singleton and Baylie Singleton; and one great-grandchild. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m., Sunday, March 13, 2011 at Proctor Funeral Home with burial in Chidester Cemetery. Dr. Richard Foster will officiate the service.
