D. W. Chambers

D. W. Chambers, 80, of Monticello, passed away Thursday, March 10, 2011 at Baptist Medical Center in Little Rock. He was born Dec. 27, 1930 in Monticello. He was a retired carpenter and a member of the Monticello Church of Christ Church. He was the son of the late W. C. Chambers and Patsy Patrick Chambers and was preceded in death by six brothers and three sisters. Survivors include his wife, Nellie Ivon Douglas Chambers of Monticello; four daughters, Karan Mathis of Vilonia, Jane Coleman of Lowell, Nancy Trantham of Monticello and Sue Taylor of Sheridan; two sons, James Dye Jr. of Pangburn and Mark McMillan of Rochester, N.Y.; three brothers, Bill Chambers of Jasper, Texas, Lawrence Chambers of Royce City, Texas, and Rudolph Chambers of Longview, Texas; three granddaughters; five grandsons and two great-granddaughters.
