Earline Crain Hodge, a 35-year resident of Greensboro, N.C., died March 12, 2011. She was born in Florence, Ark., on Dec. 13, 1921. During her lifetime, she also lived in Crossett, Ark.; Baltimore, Md.; and Arlington Heights, Ill. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, March 15, 2011 beginning at 10 a.m. at Muir's Chapel United Methodist Church. The funeral service will follow at 11 a.m. with Rev. John Kale and Rev. Vance Lowe officiating. Burial will be private. Mrs. Hodge was an active member of the Muir's Chapel Methodist Church and PEO. She also volunteered at blood drives with the American Red Cross. She is best known, however, for her love of family. She is survived by her husband of 67 years, Don Q. Hodge, and their four children: Martha Bush (Richard) of Fairfax, Va., Mary Kuntz (Dan) of Greensboro, Sue Johnson of Greensboro, and Don Hodge Jr. (Debbie) of Sandy Ridge. She is also survived by six grandchildren, Sharmon Bush Kollet (Grant), Andrew Bush (Samar), Sarah Johnson, Luke Kuntz (Cheryl), Jamie Kuntz, and Emily Kuntz; and two great-grandchildren, Sebastian Bush and Cal Kollet.
