Jack Coleman, 79, of Fort Smith, died March 11, 2011 in Fort Smith. He was born Dec. 1, 1931 in Little Rock, Ark. to Grady L. and Reba Marie Farrill Coleman. He was a retired Professional Engineer for the Arkansas State Highway and Transportation Department, a member of the Arkansas State Board of Registration for Professional Engineers and Land Surveyors, a Veteran of the U.S. Navy serving during the Korean Conflict, and an active member of Goddard United Methodist Church. He is survived by his wife, Royce of the Home; three daughters, Terry L. Branham of Springdale, Alva E. Corley of Greenwood, and Rebecca L. Allison of Fort Smith; two sons, Neal Jack Coleman and Bailey M. Coleman both of Fort Smith; one sister, Dorothy A. Kirk of Fort Smith; six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Funeral service will be Tuesday, March 15, 2011 at 10 a.m. in the Goddard United Methodist Church with burial to follow in Roselawn Cemetery all under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be Greg Allison, Ron Branham, Mike Corley, Caleb Burton, Lewis Farrar, and Tim Farrar.
