Jewell Wood Williams

JEWELL WILLIAMS, 91, of North Little Rock, passed away Wednesday, March 9, 2011. She was born in Shiloh, Ark. to the late Robert N. and Ruth Rollins Wood. Jewell was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Larry Williams; three sisters, Geneva Johnson, Ava Cardin and Roberta Butler. She was a member of Sylvan Hills First Baptist Church. She retired as a bookkeeper from Broadway Car Wash. Jewell was a loving and caring mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt; she will be missed by all that knew her. She is survived by one son, Richard (Janet) Williams of Centennial, Colo.; two daughters, Judy Woolf of Batesville and Amanda (Tim) Frazier of Cabot; one sister, Bobbye Chick of Gonzales, La.; nine grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and a host of other family and friends. Funeral service will be at 1 p.m., Monday, March 14, 2011 at Roller-Owens Funeral Home Chapel (501-791-7400). Interment will follow at Rest Hills Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 2-4 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
