JoAnn Thompson

JoAnn Y. Thompson, 80, of Little Rock, Ark. passed away, March 10, 2011. She was born September 24, 1930 to the late Leslie A. Jackson and Ruth E. Soudriette Jackson in Little Rock. Her sister, Marian Ruth Velflick also precedes her in death. JoAnn graduated from Little Rock High School and was on the cheer squad. She will be remembered by her loving husband of 62 years, M. Richard Thompson and three children; Karen Smith of Little Rock, Kristy Rocke of Alexander and Richard L. Thompson of El Paso, Texas, seven grandchildren, Sheryl Runnels of Fayetteville, Ark., Sarah Page of Benton, Ark., Alan Smith of Little Rock, Cory Batchelor of Alexander, Casey Batchelor of San Diego, Calif, Trevor and Nikki Thomson of El Paso, Texas and six great-grandchildren, Peyton Page, Allison Page and Bradon Page all of Benton, Preston and Jackson Smith of Little Rock and Wesley Runnels of Fayetteville.
