Joe Wayne Simpson

Joe Wayne Simpson, 74, of Forum, Arkansas, formerly of Sherwood, died Saturday. He was born December 12, 1936 at Fort Smith, the son of Wayne and Edith Tankersley Simpson. He was a retired office manager for Moore Robinson Goodyear in Little Rock and a member of the Forum Church of Christ. He was preceded in death by his parents, his stepfather, Herbert Smith and a grandson, Jeremy Wayne Penix. Survivors include: wife, Barbara Vanhook Simpson of the home; one son, Kendell Simpson of Huntsville; two daughters, Denis Knoff of Little Rock and Deanna Hardin, husband John, of Maumelle; two brothers, Ken Simpson, wife BJ of Hot Springs Village and Frank Simpson, wife Joyce of Fort Smith; two sisters, Virginia McLoud, husband Harvey Joe of Forum and Mary Bess Jackson, husband Danny of Huntsville, five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.
