Ronald Allen Stanfiej

Ronald Allen "Ron" Stafiej, age 63, of Heber Springs, Arkansas passed away March 11, 2011 at Baptist Health Center in Little Rock, Arkansas. Born October 10, 1947 in Chicago, Illinois he was the son of the late Agnus Lyshik and Joseph Stafiej. He was a Vietnam War Army veteran. He was a retired foreman of Bosch Power Tool Company where he had worked some forty years. Ron loved his family and especially loved spending time with his grandson, Mason. He enjoyed going to Las Vegas and fishing as hobbies. He is survived by his wife, Christine Stancy Stafiej of Heber Springs, Ark.; one daughter, Dawn Lynn Gillespie and husband, Troy of Maumelle, Ark.; beloved grandson, Mason Gillespie; one brother, Stephen Stafiej of St. Louis Mo.; one sister, Delores Lutyguarden of Punta Gorda, Fla.; many nieces and nephews and a host of friends. A visitation will be held 6 to 9 p.m., Wednesday, March 16, 2011 at Heber Springs Funeral Home Chapel. Memorial Services will be 10 a.m., Thursday, March 17, 2011 at the funeral home with Deacon Bob Morris officiating. The American Legion will provide military honors after the Memorial Service.
