Elva Yates, age 87, of Onyx, died Sunday, March 13, 2011. Funeral services will be 10 a.m., Wednesday, March 16 at Onyx Missionary Baptist Church. Burial will be at Shed Cemetery. Visitation was held from 6 to 8 p.m., Tuesday. Arrangements by Cornwell Funeral Home, Danville.
