Jennalea Ross Howell

Jennalea Ross Howell, 89, of Sylvania Community, Arkansas, was born February 21, 1922 to William Oscar Ross and Daisy Louise Gentz, and she died Tuesday, March 15, 2011. She was a member of Sylvania Presbyterian Church where she taught Sunday school for many years. She and her husband, Ellis maintained the church and cemetery for more than 40 years, as well as many other area cemeteries. She and Ellis were married for 68 years before his death. Jennalea is survived by one sister, Nina L. Lockard; three daughters, Janet Richardson and her husband Jim, Doris Howell, all of Sylvania, and Dr. Kathy Howell and husband Kurt of Dawsonville, Georgia; four granddaughters; and seven great-grandchildren. Family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m., Wednesday at Westbrook Funeral Home, Beebe. Graveside service will be 2 p.m. Thursday, March 17, 2011, at Sylvania Cemetery.
