Robert Henry Moore

Robert Henry Moore, age 72, of Benton, passed away Monday, March 14, 2011. He was born July 17, 1938 in Little Rock, Arkansas to the late Evelyn Moore and Marvin Moore. They moved to Chicago, Illinois and later he joined the Air Force where he served for 25 years. After retiring, he moved to Benton in 1980 and then to Haskell. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Jerry Moore and wife Lois. He is survived by his wife, Barbara of 38 years; son, Darren Moore of Maumelle; brothers, Danny Hainey Moore (Mary) and Max Junior Moore (Tina) all of Chicago; cousin, Shirley Lewis of Nebraska and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m., Thursday, March 17 at Ashby Funeral Home. Graveside services will be 11 a.m., Friday, March 18 at Pine Crest Memorial Park. Military Honors will be conducted.
