Woody Joseph Borque

Woody Joseph Borque, 67, of Mableton, Georgia passed away Saturday, March 12, 2011 at Tranquility Hospice in Austell, Georgia. Woody was self-employed carpenter and was retired at the time of his passing. He was a veteran of the US Navy and served in the Vietnam War. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lucille and Louis Borque; three brothers, Charlie, Tommy and Lewis Borque; and a sister, Lillie Mae Ruggles. He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Pearl Stevenson Borque of Mableton, Georgia; a son and daughter, Keith and Michelle, both of Georgia; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 4-6 p.m. on Thursday, March 17, 2011 at Moore's Cabot Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, March 18, 2011 in the chapel of Moore's Cabot Funeral Home with Reverend Beth Turner officiating.
