Lela Bland

Lela Bland, age 101, passed away March 14, 2011. She was a 65 year employee of Carlisle Public Schools. Survivors include her granddaughter, Joan White of Lonoke, great-grandchildren, Tracee White and Sandra White of North Little Rock, and Clarissa White of Little Rock, two great great-grandchildren, Patrick White, and Donald Bowers Jr., and a grandson-in-law, Homer White. The family will receive friends, Friday from 5-7 p.m. at Boyd Funeral Home, Lonoke. A memorial service will be at 12 noon, Saturday, March 19 at Mt Zion Baptist Church, Carlisle.
