Milesa Kay Gentry Hitchens

Milesa Kay Gentry Hitchens departed this life in February in Colorado where she had resided for several years. Lesa/Miley was born November 26, 1960 and was raised in Benton. She was preceded in death by parents Nolan and Mae Hulsey Gentry. Surviving family includes two sons, Zachary and Kalan Hitchens and grandson Skylar of Hot Springs; sister Gay Buie Dumas; sister Marsha Buie Smith and husband Victor, all of Benton; and siblings Bradley, Tela, and Susie Gentry of Michigan; aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews, as well as many other loved ones, also remember the life she lived "her way." Visitation will be held at 1 p.m. preceding a commemoration ceremony planned for 2 p.m., Saturday, March 19, at the Chapel of the Arkansas Health Center located off Highway 67 in Benton where Lesa previously worked. She loved animals, but would be honored by any contribution to a charity of choice.
